Giving young people the opportunity to meet each other across Europe, to live together, to share, to learn, ... is crucial to strengthen Europe as a community of people and to make young people embrace diversity (so much needed in times of more and more polarisation). By 2040 each youngster has the right for a personal EU mobility budget which he/see can use to go to another European country to live a European mobility experience. This mobility budget builds further on existing EU programmes such as Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, but is enormously scaled-up. by 2040 it is a normal practice to make use of this practice to support a learning experience in the field of volunteering, studying, exchange, solidarity project, etc., based on own needs. Inclusion is at the core of this programme, i.e. EVERY young European can benefit from it. Extra support (on different levels) is offered for young people with fewer opportunities. Green travel is fully encouraged.
