The Faculty of Computer Science at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, established in 1992 as the first Computer Science Faculty in Romania, is a center of innovation and excellence in education and research. With over 1400 students and more than 50 professors, it offers programs in Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and more. Students obtain access to contemporary laboratories, internships, and joint projects through robust industry partnerships. The Faculty is committed to training future leaders and innovators, leading digital transformation on both national and international levels.
The name of the Faculty in Romanian is Facultatea de Informatică din Iași, having the acronym FII.
