We live in a multiverse of possibilities. Let’s shape the future—before it chooses for us.

Alicja Kotłowska, LL.M., MSc, MBA, MA, is an academic, strategic foresight practitioner and consultant specialising in the future of work, new technologies, education and organisational change.

She first encountered scenario planning as a student at the University of Oxford. Since then, she has applied scenario methodology whenever developing strategy, using it to move beyond the limitations of linear forecasting and explore alternative futures.

As a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University Business School, she taught foresight as a strategic management method. She has also led numerous workshops for companies, helping organisations anticipate change and develop resilient future strategies.

Today, she works in Poland as an expert advising the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy on the future of work in the context of technological and demographic change. As the Vice-Rector’s Representative at SWPS University, she contributes to shaping the future of internationalisation and European higher education.

She also promotes public access to foresight through the e-learning programmes “Scenario planning” and "Futuristic mindset" developed within a National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) grant.
