I am a foresight practitioner, trainer, and theorist dedicated to cultivating future-oriented communities and strengthening the role of anticipation in shaping societal trajectories.
With nearly two decades of experience, I have led numerous large-scale foresight exercises in Romania and at European level. My work has consistently pushed methodological boundaries—pioneering innovations such as AI-enhanced horizon scanning, gamified foresight workshops, and the Dynamic Argumentative Delphi, a consultation method designed to capture structured, evolving debates.
Currently, I am the coordinator of the Eye of Europe Coordination and Support Action, a key initiative aimed at reinforcing the foresight community and deepening its integration with research and innovation ecosystems. As part of this mission, I am committed to developing futures4europe.eu into the central digital hub for foresight in Europe—a platform that both showcases forward-looking activities and fosters meaningful public engagement around the futures we are co-creating.
