With 25+ years of experience in EU Research and Innovation in programmes ranging from (FP7 to Horizon Europe, COSME, INTERREG and EMFAF) I specialise in connecting innovation management, foresight, and AI governance to help research ecosystems translate ideas into market and policy value. I have coordinated impact, exploitation, and commercialisation work packages in large-scale R&I projects, delivering scalable innovation and compliance frameworks that align research with ESG, SDG, and AI ethics.
As an innovation coach and mentor, I have supported over 40 startups and SMEs in building investor readiness and sustainability strategies. My work with BlueInvest, EUDIS, IDI and Loggerhead Ventures bridges EU research, investment, and policy, ensuring continuity from early innovation to market uptake.
I contribute to the European Commission as a Proposal Evaluator and Expert Adviser, focusing on projects that combine deep-tech innovation with responsible governance and system foresight.
I focus my work on strategic innovation, commercialisation, impact pathways and future-proof governance models.
