Adina-Iuliana Deacu
Environmental Psychologist and Social Entrepreneur building alternative futures through actions today | 80% practitioner, 20% mentor
Environmental psychology researcher, educator, urban planner, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges systems thinking, trauma-informed research, and regenerative design. I hold an MSc in Environmental Psychology from the University of Surrey and a BA+MA in Urban Planning and Design from the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism. I am also the 2025 Klaus Töpfer Sustainability Fellow at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Potsdam, where I explored how redefining “business” as “an entity that solves social issues and creates social value in a financially sustainable way” can help cities, economies, and communities become more inclusive.
As the founder of Tianmei World Academy—a decentralized cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary “network of classrooms” learning platform—I apply environmental psychology to nurture inclusive, healing environments.
