Maren is a futures researcher (M.A. FU Berlin) and scientific associate at the Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment (IZT) in Berlin. With a background in economics and social sciences, she explores the societal impacts of emerging technologies and questions of resilience and justice - particularly in health and care systems, but more broadly in relation to human well-being and healthy futures. Her work connects economic reasoning with transformative and sustainable perspectives on social cohesion, blending activistic exploration with scientific research to address future risks and anticipate inclusive, plural, and sustainable futures.
